1. Research

   • Research Stonewall. Learn when it was, what it was, where it happened, who was involved, & why it is still important today.

2. Do (At least 3)

   • Research issues that affect the Queer Community today. This could be laws, social issues, etc. 

   • Look into your local laws that affect the Queer Community.

   • Volunteer a few hours at an organization that helps the Queer Community (this could be an organization like https://www.thetrevorproject.org/, https://www.hrc.org/, https://www.iyg.org/, https://pflag.org/, https://www.standinpride.org/, etc).

   • Read a book from a Queer person’s point of view.

   • Code Switch. Talk to someone important to you about your partner. Now tell them the same story but DO NOT use their pronouns. If your partner uses She/Her pronouns then tell the story with He/Him pronouns. If your partner uses He/Him pronouns then tell the story using She/Her pronouns. What difference did you notice when telling the story without your partner's correct pronouns?
